Welcome to Tesco internet access
To reinstall your dial up software, please follow the steps below:
1. Insert the Tesco internet access CD
2. Click Next

3. Confirm that the installer is copying files to the correct location and click Next

4. Click Finish

5. Click Install

6. The install software will dial and connect to the registration server

7. The registration page will open. Click re-install

8. The reinstall page will open. Fill in your e-mail address password and mother’s maiden name

9. Click continue

10. Once the reinstall page locates your details, you will be advised that your
Internet settings are about to be changed. Click
continue

11. Your account details will be confirmed. Click continue

12. Click Close

13. The Tesco internet access installer will then reappear. Click OK to complete reinstallation

14. Double-click your Tesco internet access icon on your Desktop. Your software is now reinstalled and ready to connect

To reinstall your SpeedTouch 330 modem, please take the following steps:
1. Unplug the modem from your PC USB port
2. Click Start
3. Click Run
4. Enter control.exe and click OK
5. Double click Add / Remove Programs
6. Uninstall SpeedTouch USB
7. Insert the modem installation disc
8. Click “Install Tesco broadband”:

9. Click “continue”:

10. Enter your username and password and click “continue”:

11. Click “Continue” to accept the Licence Agreement:


12. Follow the instructions and unplug ALL telephony devices in your home, and click “continue”:

13. Connect filters and click “continue”:

14. Connect your telephone to the filter and click “continue”:

15. Connect the grey cable to the filter (if it is not connected already) and click “continue”:

16. Connect the other end of the grey cable to the modem (if it isn’t attached already) and click “continue”:

17. When the install program instructs to do so, plug the modem back into your PC USB port (IMPORTANT: do not plug the modem into the USB port until told to do so!):

18. The following screen will be shown as the modem installs:

19. Click “quit”:

20. Double-click the Tesco broadband icon on the Desktop to connect.
1. Insert the Tesco Finest* router CD
2. Select Set-up Router

3. Click continue

4. Click continue

5. Click agree

6. Click continue

7. Enter your Finest* username and password and click continue

8. If your computer is near the phone socket click yes

9. Plug the power into the mains supply and click continue

10. Attach the power to the router and click continue

11. Attach one end of the Ethernet cable to the router and the other end to your PC Ethernet port and click Continue

12. Connect the telephone cable to the router and click continue

13. Connect the other end of the telephone cable to the filter and click continue

14. Unplug your telephone from the telephone socket and click continue

15. Connect the telephone to the filter and click continue

16. Connect the filter to the telephone socket and click continue

17. Check the diagram to ensure that the setup is correct and click continue

18. The software will then program the router

19. Your router is now set up and ready to connect
1. Insert the Tesco Finest* router CD
2. Select set-up another computer to use your wireless network with a wireless adapter

3. Click continue

4. Enter the SSID code (normally printed on the bottom of the router). If you are using the security feature of the router, enter the type of security and the security key. Click
continue

5. Unplug any Ethernet cables from the PC and click continue

6. Click yes or no to indicate whether your PC already has wireless capability

7. The software will now configure the wireless adapter

8. The software will now detect your router

9. Your wireless connection is now set up and ready to connect.

To reinstall your Tesco Internet Security software, please follow the steps below:
1. Insert the Tesco Internet Security CD
2. Select English and click Next

3. The install program will then unpack the necessary files

4. Accept the agreement and click Next

5. Ensure that the install location is correct and click Next

6. The program then begins to install

7. Click OK to restart your PC

8. Insert your Tesco Internet Security subscription number and click Next

9. The install program then verifies your subscription number

10. Enter and confirm a password and click Next

11. The installation then continues

12. Click OK to restart your PC

13. Once your PC has restarted, the Tesco Internet Security icon can be located near your system clock.
