Cancelling your account


Cancelling your Pay as you go, Daytime or Anytime account

If you wish to cancel your Pay As You Go, Daytime or Anytime account, please write to us, or call 0845 6508000 and one of our operators can assist you to do this. There is no contract period for these types of account, but cancellation normally occurs on your next billing date.

Cancelling or obtaining a MAC for your broadband account

If you wish to cancel your broadband account, please write to us, or call 0845 6508000 and one of our operators can assist you to do this. Please be aware that all of our broadband accounts have a minimum contract of 12 months. If you are cancelling whilst within this contract period, you may be charged a cancellation fee.

If you wish to obtain a MAC to transfer your account to another broadband provider, please call 0845 6508000. Please be aware that all of our broadband accounts have a minimum contract of 12 months. If you are requesting a MAC whilst within this contract period, you may be charged a cancellation fee. MACs are e-mailed to your Tesco.net e-mail address within 5 working days of your initial request. If you would like us to send this to a different e-mail address please let us know.
