Configuring Transmit - file upload software.
- Once you have successfully installed your Transmit program you will need to configure it so you can upload your files to your Tesco internet access home page site. Just follow the instructions below.

- First, open the folder in which Transmit has installed itself. This should be on your desktop and look like this image:

- Once you have opened the folder you will be presented with 3 icons. Simply click on the 'Transmit' icon to start the Transmit program.

- Once you start the program a new window will appear with some empty boxes for you to enter your settings for logging in to the Tesco internet access home pages:

- Fill in the boxes with your account information as below. Your user name and password will be the same as your dialup/connection user name and password. Leave the 'Directory' field blank.
- Once you have entered your settings simply click on the 'connect' button.

- Once successfully connected you will see a window similar to the image below.
- The left window will show you the contents of your hard drives and any files you may have on your desktop. The right window is your homepage directory where your website will be stored.
- To upload any files you wish to place on your Tesco internet access home page, just search for the file in the left window by double clicking the relevant directories. Once found, simply highlight the file and keep the mouse button held down while dragging the file to the right window.
- Depending on the size of the file it may take a few seconds for the file to fully upload to the home pages site.
If you wish to delete any files you no longer need on your home page, just click on the file in the right window, drag it to the Trash can and confirm the deletion.
